Lucy Snow started welding in 1993 and has since combined steel with wood, rubber, paper, etc. She moved from Maine to California to attend the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a degree in sculpture in 1997. She has since been at Contra Costa College in San Pablo teaching introductory design and added "Sculpture Through Welding" in 1999. Lucy also teaches several classes at The Crucible.
